Course runs one day a week, usually between March and November, with 9-week winter and term holiday breaks.
The dates for 2019 are to be confirmed.
- Propagate plants from seeds (10 credits)
- Propagate plants from cuttings (10 credits)
- Graft mature fruit plants (10 credits)
Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor activities. All materials and equipment are supplied for this course.
These courses are based around unit standards within the National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4) qualification. If you wish to officially gain the unit standard(s), you can sit an assessment and will receive a certificate recognising your achievement.
If you are learning for interest, you do not have to sit an assessment and will receive a Certificate of Attendance to demonstrate that you completed the course.
