Learn the traditional craft of dry stone walling.
Drystone construction is as much an art as a science. Building a stone wall is a wonderfully creative and fulfilling experience. One moment you have a space and the next you have a structure. It may have a practical use such as a freestanding wall to keep animals out or to retain a bank or create a terrace. Structures can/will make a statement, whether it be sculptural or practical - the numbers of drystone applications are endless. This is a two-day course. Each day will start at 9.00am and finish at 3.00pm.
