• Train and prune fruit trees (5 credits).

This is an eight-day course. The 2018 dates are yet to be confirmed. The course usually takes place during the winter months (six days during June and two days in July).

Please wear warm clothing suitable for learning in an outdoor environment. All materials and equipment are supplied for this course. 

These courses are based around unit standards within the National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4) qualification. If you wish to officially gain the unit standard(s), you can sit an assessment and will receive a certificate recognising your achievement.

If you are learning for interest, you do not have to sit an assessment and will receive a Certificate of Attendance to demonstrate that you completed the course.
